Students will be introduced to the recording of bass guitar with an emphasis on electric bass. Factors to electric bass tone will be explored and students will understand the sonic difference between mic’ing up a cabinet as compared to DI’ing through preamps, hence to determine the best method to record bass for the desired style of music.
