This module explores in detail the techniques that have been used to record the drum kit from the 60’s to present day. Students will learn the different microphone techniques that can be used on each individual drum from kick drum to snare and to tom-toms. Also covered in this module are the techniques of minimalist mic’ing techniques as well as individual drum mic’ing.
