K/9/S Collective Launch Event
9 Fountains has collaborated with Kult and Sifr to create a line of limited edition, super-premium graphic t-shirts.
Orita Sinclair and IS magazine will be sponsoring this massive show of home-grown fellowship to be held at Black Market 2.
The K/9/S collection consists of fifteen Singapore based designs handpicked from the range of international artwork in Kult Magazine’s “Animals” issue.
The issue–and resulting t-shirt collection–is full of facts about animals, visualized by some of the most exciting artists working in the world today. The Kult artwork is intended to “create a stronger bond between man and animal by increasing understanding” while the selections shine a spotlight on the thriving but oftentimes subterranean local art community in Singapore. This limited edition run (40 per design) will also showcase Sifr’s premium pima cotton t-shirts and 9 Fountains’ highly-detailed and vivid printing.
On October 6th, the exclusive launch party will give attendees the chance to meet the artists and experience the artwork/ collection for the first time.
A special pre-order sale will take place on-line at 9fountains.com from September 15th-30th where consumers can reserve the t-shirt of their choosing at a discounted price, with the first 50 customers receiving a special invitation to the launch event.
See you there!

Orita Sinclair alumnus Terrix Lin wins Open Category of Project ID 2010
Project ID is an annual project presented by NTU Welfare Services Club. The aim is to raise public awareness and correct misconceptions that people have about the intellectually disabled in the society. Terrix Lin’s entry titled,”Small yet Strong”, took the winning photograph for the open category.

Something small, yet strong.
Glowing at one corner of my door,
I can’t help but to notice them
and to swipe them off with a rag.
Weeks later, they resurface, more.
This is the persistence of a parasite,
A small yet fulfilling resolution.
