For this reason we developed our curriculum and programmes for a small number of students in each cohort, so that every student will have the full attention of numerous lecturers.

Orita.Sinclair - School of Art and New Media has specially designed its programmes to be conducted by various industry professionals and adjunct lecturers. This allows experts in their respective fields to share with students the wealth of experience from industry. This also ensures that the curriculum remains current and is one of the main reasons why students enroll with us.

With us, you will get an excellent and well-rounded education in the areas of Animation, Video, Design and Interactive Media. After acquiring your Diploma or Advance Diploma, you will be well prepared for industry, since your graduating portfolio will consist of projects based on industry standards. This will contribute your choices for further studies or job applications.

Declaration

Orita.Sinclair-School of Art and New Media was established in 2003 as the first School in Singapore to offer a nine months Diploma program and six months Advance Diploma in New Media Art. In addition, the School also proudly offers a diploma in Design Communication.

The establishment of the School came as the result of several factors: an understanding of the future in Singapore’s significant role in the media industries, the level of technological development in Singapore and the long industry and teaching experience of the founders and lecturers.

In nine intakes over the first three years, Orita.Sinclair-School of Art and New Media proved itself as one of the leading contributor in New Media Art teaching philosophy, providing teaching services for its students and external attendants from other teaching institutions such as NIE, Singapore Polytechnic, Nanyang Polytechnic, ITE etc

The School is industry partner with the Media Devlopment Authority, Citibank, WDA, Esplanade, ClubMed… and it is well recognized as a quality teaching institution in the World. As such it is listed at all major databases of Art, Design and Media Schools.

In order to keep its position and credibility among local and foreign students as well as industry partners, Orita.Sinclair-School of Art and New Media maintains its high standards in following:

  1. Constant updating of curriculum, programmes and teaching procedures in accordance with relevant industry development.
  2. Providing students with a conductive creative environment and facilities specific to industry standards.
  3. Keeping the lecturer - student ratio at 1:12
  4. Lecturers are actively involved in the New Media Industry, therefore, students benefit from understanding the current trends.
  5. Keeping transparent policies and procedures with regards of payment and refunds including ensuring accuracy in the amount of fees charged to each student.
  6. Having constant student feedback.
  7. Keeping assessment procedures transparent.
