Advanced Diploma in Design Communication is a 9 months in-class learning + 3 months internship/live project programme with 520 hours (excluding internship) of intensive training and personal in-studio mentoring.
The Advanced Diploma places you in an environment where you are exposed to scenarios such as understanding market trends, assessing client briefs, thinking on your feet in your design education—all to ensure that you are well-prepared to work in a design studio and wow your future employers. The maximum teacher to student ratio for the course is 1:10.

Synopsis:
Focuses on developing brand strategies for industries ranging from F&B to non-profit organisations.
Objectives:
This module aims to provide students with the opportunity to understand the designer’s role when developing individual components that form the corporate image and its functions in the company. Students will learn to design cohesive brand identities for a product or service. Students will understand how a corporate identity is influenced by a company’s business objectives.

Synopsis:
Provides students with a foundation in the principles of marketing. Students will be able to appreciate how businesses can be successful and sustainable by studying real life case studies from both the local and global perspectives.
Objectives:
This module gives students a strong grounding in fundamental marketing concepts and the marketing process. The curriculum focuses on market analysis, planning and decision-making techniques, as well as consumer and business behaviour theories.

Synopsis:
Introduces students to business planning and strategy development. Students will learn to conduct industry research and market and financial analysis in building businesses.
Objectives:
Students will learn to identify market needs and conduct research on a selected need to formulate a business plan, including its offerings, target market, strategy and financial ratios. They will be required to organise and strategise the business idea in a professional, quality business document. Towards the end of the module, students will focus on writing and presenting a convincing business plan to attract capital investment, e.g. potential investors and banks.

Focuses on visual communication in the changing social environment in Singapore. Students will discuss art and design trends that contribute to the information communicated to the society.
Objectives:
This module is designed to emphasise on Creation through visual research and experimentation. Students must be able to identify changes in design trends in Singapore and work on a collaborative project that critically reviews and evaluates current social behaviours and human relationships.

Focuses on applying your creative concepts on a variety of media platforms to design a holistic advertising campaign.
Objectives:
This module aims to help students understand and plan ATL, BTL advertising campaigns depending on the project given. Students must be able to decide and adopt the most appropriate media to effectively communicate to their target audience.

Elective modules provide curriculum flexibility and choice by introducing more applied modules as enrichment in the curriculum.
